She will even resort to the destruction of her own kind in an attempt to stop Janeway and Unimatrix Zero.

The Story : Stardate 54038.4 - Seven of Nine shows some emotion when three of the four Borg children leave the U.S.S. Voyager, but the Doctor confirms that she may have malfunctioning ocular implants. The remaining young Borg, Icheb, then decides that he would like to join Starfleet Academy. When Seven later admits to suffering from some headaches, it is discovered that she needs a critical operation requiring Borg parts. Icheb is the only one who can help her by transfering his Borg cortical node to her. When Seven realizes the potential danger to his phisiology, she summarily rejects the proposal. But the Borg secretly disconnects his node so that his theory can be proved and Seven's life saved.

The woman, Irina, later informs them of an upcoming starship race. Soon, the Starfleet officers find themselves involved in this race-an event intended as the first step towards peace between four different cultures from this area of space. While his relationship with B'Elanna endures a rough ride, Tom realizes that hardlined dissidents plan to explode the Flyer as it crosses the finish line. He only way out may be to take the reigns of both the ship and his personal life, executing a flawless evasive maneuver and a marriage proposal, simultaneously.

The Story : Stardate 54090.4 - Former members of the Maquis appear to be singled out in a rash of violent attacks. Before long, the safety of the entire crew is in jeopardy. When Tuvok takes charge of the investigation he becomes frustrated at the lack of a logical motive. The mysterious attacker seems to prey only on those involved in the Maquis resistance movement, including Chakotay and Torres. Although the victims make seemingly quick recoveries, events take an astonishing turn when Tuvok uncovers the identity of the predator who has left his prey with post-hypnotic suggestion to assume command of the ship by any means necessary.

The Story : The crew of Voyager find a Hirogen training facility, and discover that the hologram technology they gave the Hirogen several months ago was modified to the point where the Holograms are smarter and more cunning than their hunters. The Doctor is abducted by a band of Holograms that escaped from the Hirogen facility and is asked to join them in forging a new life as independent 'photonic beings.' The crew of Voyager must ally with the Hirogen to find the Doctor and re-capture the renegade Holograms. After a confrontation with the Hologram ship, Voyager is disabled and B'Elanna is abducted, with the Doctor's help, to aid the Holograms in their plight.
Note : Spencer Garrett previously played Simon Tarses in the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" episode "The Drumhead". This episode continues the events which occured in the 4th season two-parter "The Killing Game".

With Voyager and the Hirogen ships trailing close behind, the Doctor and Torres must find a way to disable the ships and the holograms before they come under attack from the Hirogen, and before Iden can execute his plan.

Chakotay, Kim and Neelix, return from their trading mission on the Delta Flyer to find the ship abandoned and adrift in a nebula, with only the Doctor on board. The Doctor informs them that the ship fell into a trap which forced them to abandon ship in the escape pods, allowing them to be captured. The Doctor has heard nothing from them since. After going undercover on the planet, Chakotay, Kim, Neelix and the Doctor must now find a way to return the crew and restore their memories, while evading local authorities who have uncovered their plan.

The Story : Stardate: 54775.4. However, the probe has been modified by a Delta Quadrant species, and the changes may not have been for the better.
Note : Originally, James Cromwell was to reprise his Star Trek: First Contact role of Zephram Cochran. In one of the earlier drafts of the script, the Friendship One probe would broadcast a message saying, "My name is Zefram Cochrane. I send greetings on behalf of the inhabitants of Earth." However, this was changed to "We the people of Earth greet you in a spirit of peace and humility" for the final version of the episode.
