Fate deals young orphan Matt Murdock a strange hand when he is doused with radioactive waste. The accident leaves Matt blind but also gives him a heightened « radar sense » that allows him to « see » far better than any man. Years later Murdock has grown into a man and becomes a respected criminal attorney. But after he's done his « day job » Matt takes on a secret identity as « The Man Without Fear, » Daredevil, the masked avenger that patrols the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen and New York City to combat the injustice that he cannot tackle in the courtroom.

Although suspected, the existence of Daradevil is not truly confirmed. He hides as an avenger behind his red leather suit and leads a poor sentimental life until the day he meets Elektra Natchios, the daughter of the Greek multimillionaire, the Ambassador Natchios.

But Elektra's father is in trouble and Wilson Fisk, best known as « The Kingpin » has posed a contract on him. To execute him, he hired a killer called « Bullseye », a killer with fearsome precision who never misses a shot. Matt understanding his protected one is in trouble dresses his Daredevil suit and flies to the Ambassador's help. But despite his efforts, he cannot stop the killer.

Worse the situation is such that Elektra thinks Daredevil is the delinquent of this despicable death penalty. Daredevil not having succeeded to interpose, escapes, full of remorse and rancoeur.

Elektra is not only a gorgeous woman but she is also an overtrained powerfull fighting girl. Well decided to revenge her father's death, she meets Daredevil on the roofs of the city to accomplish he revenge. Matt has pain to avoid the woman's knocks and the Daredevil man is soon hurt. When she unmasks him, she understands her error but it is too late. The Bullseye is after them and is well decided to kill two birds with one stone; killing the girl and the masked avenger…

Despite a well led struggle, she is not sized against the fearsome killer and she finds death in atrocious pains. Matt also suffers. After the death of his father it is now his beloved who escapes him. Why is the fate persisting so much for killing all the one he loves? Daredevil escapes and finds refuge in the church where preaches a priest ; his adoptive father. Matt is quickly found back by the killer who is decided to continue fighting. Although casualty, Daredevil delivers an efficient combat. He even learns that the Bullseye is this man who killed his father many years ago. Matt gets overcome the killer and goes to visit Wilson Fisk that he finally saves because, as he says himself « i'm not the bad guy ».

Daredevil follows his mission in sorrow, guardian and defender of victims. But he will have a hard party because all his enemies are not still dead.
