The Return of James Battle

Skotlett, a little city in the middle of nowhere, is not as peaceful as you could believe it. During the last celebration of the Cow Pie, stuntman James Battle has accidentally destroyed Bosco's bar, Sam Paradiso. Bosco has immediately jumped on the opportunity to put apart James from his daughter's path, Concia, and made him condemned to 133 years of prison ! Thus, colled spirit, Bosco has been able to reconstruct his bar and devotes henceforth to the organization of a song contest.

Her side, Concia attempts to forget James and is devoted to her passion, music. She hopes to win the contest, and why not, to sign a true contract with Allan Chiasse, this strange impresario freshly arrived in the city. But at the moment where the residents of Skotlett are ready to feast, a threat darkens the horizon… Aliens with strange forms glide above the city. They have already attacked some residents and risk to provoke a true slaught… Unless James Battle, who has just escaped the prison, succeed in saving Skotlett, and especially Concia from this announced disaster...

ATOMIK CIRCUS finds its origins into an unfinished comic strip by Didier Poiraud. The Poiraud brothers transcribed in this film a chaotic universe right founded from their imagination. Rather used to TV ad movies, it concerns here the first movie of the two Nantais who have not hesitated to grant the participation of actors of prestige.

ATOMIK CIRCUS, it is a crazy comedy based on rock'n roll and science fiction in which Vanessa Paradis exploits for the first time her own musical talents for cinema. The music is insured by a group called « The Little Rabbits », Didier and Thierry Poiraud long time friends whoom they already realized a short film with titled, « Aliens With 2000 Assholes », that already tells a long about the crazy imaginary of the directors.
