A fantasy about a girl who was conceived by lightning (her mother was struck and later became pregnant.) The girl has control over both lightning and electrici ty and hence is potentionally dangerous. Even when she falls in love with a young man she feels she must reno unce him. Instead, however she eventually renounces her supernatural power (BFI).
