This is a time when a still secret technology allows the miniaturization, in amazing proportions, of any object and even human beings. But this technology has its limitations as it is currently impossible to maintain the miniaturization process more than 60 minutes. Only Professor Jan Benes possess the secret that allows this scientific exploit to last indefinitely.

But an attack by foreign intelligence forces leaves the professor between life and death. Sent urgently in a specialized hospital, he has to undergo an intervention to remove a blood clot located in an inaccessible region of the brain.  Since the clot cannot be taken out by conventional means, the military decides to send a miniaturized team of surgeons, aboard a small submarine, to destroy the clot from inside...
