Play for Tomorrow

(Play for Tomorrow)

Synopsis

PLAY FOR TOMORROW is a series made up of 6 dramas of science-fiction inspired by the events of the eighties. These are plays about the Nuclear war, unemployment and political activism. It is the spin off series of PLAY FOR TODAY, a British television anthology drama, produced from 1970 to 1984. Considering the unexpected success it met, one of its episodes in particular, The Flipside off Dominic Hyde, inspired the producers of Play for Today who commissioned six writers to produce speculative stories about what life in Britain would be like at the end of the twentieth century.
