Plan 9 from Outer Space

In a small city, a series of deaths happened around a cemetery. First a living dead woman is sighted, then her husband, an old man dies. Two more bodies of gravediggers working in the cemetery will be found. The police inquiry will end with the death of the inspector Clay, killed by two zombies.

Later, three flying saucers fly over Hollywood and Washington. The army opens fire on these without results. Colonel Tom Edwards explains that officially, they have tried to contact aliens by radio, but that these ones have already slaughtered a small city, legitimating the opening fire...
