Moontrap

The crew of a space shuttle discovers a drifting alien spaceship in orbit. Jason, the leader of the mission boards the alien vessel and finds a human corpse. The corpse is revealed to be 14000 years old. He also finds a strange object resembling a football.

Back on Earth, studies show that the probable origin of the vessel comes from the crater 'Promoteus' on the Moon!. Would we have discovered a space base on the Moon ?. But the artefect brought back from the spaceship opens, and uses human corpses to become an authentic monster made of metal that the security will have difficults to destroy...
