Sam Ferrier is a divorced docker and a father who is estranged from his son Robbie, 17 years old, and his daughter Rachel, 11 years old. A powerful storm erupts and Ray witnesses a spectacle that will change his life forever. The earth splits, revealing a war machine perched on three huge metallic feet.
