Godzilla shows up once again to attack Japan. This time, he aims his foot-smashing at the country's main energy plants, including nuclear reactors. The scientist (Murata) tracking Godzilla's attacks begins to suspect there's a logic to Godzilla's attacks; and then a gigantic meteor explodes, and a spaceship emerges, an alien life form aroused from its 6,000 year sleep in the depths of the Japan trench.
