Synopsis

Kohei Takahara is a 38-years-old japanese astronaut. He is killed in an accident in the line of duty, but thanks to the perfection of human cloning and memory storage, a clone of Kohei is vivified. Loaded with Kohei's memory data, and set to rejoin life with his wife. However, contrary to the scientists' expectations, when Kohei's clone awakens, his memory has regressed to Kohei's childhood, his consciousness trapped in the time of his astronaut forebear, but mistakes it for that of his deceased twin. Searching for closure and wishing to reunite with his beloved mother, who unbeknownst to him has passed away, the clone sets off, taking the corpse on a journey to the beautiful rural village where he spent his childhood with his mother and brother. What shocking discovery will Kohei's clone make in the remnants of his childhood home ?
