Alien from L.A.

Wanda is a lonely L.A. girl living with her crazy aunt. Nothing ever happens in her life until.... She discovers that her explorer-adventurer father who deserted Wanda years ago, has fallen down a bottomless pitt in Africa and is presumed dead. Wanda travels to Africa to investigate and learns that her father was trying to find man's ancestors who lived deep underground. Could her father still be alive? Wanda searches for him and soon finds herself in the underground city of Atlantis, full of the strangest people imaginable. She embarks on the adventure of a lifetime and is herself hunted by the underworld authorities because she is the alien from L.A.
