After gaining freedom from the collective, Seven was responsible for the re-assimilation of herself and several others, who now seek freedom, even though it may cost their lives -- and Seven's!

When she is transported to the horrific barge of dishonored souls, Torres learns that her ashamed mother bears the burden of her dishonor, and after returning to the U.S.S. Voyager, she wants to go back for her - even if it means exchanging her own life.

The Story : During a stopover at a space junkyard, Tom Paris convinces Chakotay to purchase a sporty space shuttle which Paris then constantly labors over to repair. But, he's oblivious that the craft has assumed a sexy female persona that influences his mind to suit her own dangerous agenda. Paris becomes addicted to "Alice," the loving name he bestows on the sleek shuttle that comes complete with an invasive personality capable of convincing him to cannabalize vital parts from the Voyager's systems to retrofit her own. In need of a pliant pilot to get to her destination, Alice tricks Paris into blasting off in the mini-ship while evading Janeway's desperate attempts to chase them.

The Story : Stardate 53263.2 - During negotiations with the Kesat government, Tuvok is zapped by a powerful energy force, suffers severe neurological trauma and emerges as a mere shell of his former self while Janeway searches for the mythical species responsible for the attack in hopes of finding a cure. While the optimistic Neelix keeps pushing to restore the mental prowess of the confused Tuvok, Janeway works with Naroq, a Kesat inspector, as they try to solve the enigma of the cloaking device used by the hostile Ba'Neth -- or "shadow people" --who seek Voyager's technical data. Even as the crew pursues the elusive Ba'Neth for a solution to Tuvok's misfortune, the suddenly vulnerable Vulcan discovers emotions he never could appreciate before.

The Story : Stardate 53167.9 - Voyager accidentally drifts into a sub-space corridor and is attacked by the Turei, a territorial race whose armada forces Janeway and her crew to take shelter on a ravaged planet-where they encounter another warlike species - the Vaadwaur - whose survivors are encased in bio-pods awaiting "re-animation" after having been in stasis for almost 900 years. While making repairs to Voyager, Seven - wishing to help a species after destoying so many - thaws them out. The captain seeks to form an alliance with the Vaadwaur against the persistant Turei and promises to find them a new home. She soon senses, however, that her new allies within might pose a greater threat than the enemy she knows is circling above.

The Story : Stardate 53292.7 - After Voyager is nearly consumed by a massive ball of energy, Janeway launches a probe of the phenomenon and a search for a missing 300-year-old U.S. spacecraft trapped inside the energy field - a vehicle used for the first manned mission to Mars in 2032 - a risky maneuver that might cost the lives of the shuttle crew. As Voyager shadows the powerful anomaly known as the Graviton Ellipse, Seven of Nine reluctantly joins a fascinated Paris and Chakotay on the shuttle as they look for the legendary Ares Four, the command module from the first manned mission to Mars. However, once found, the attempt to retrieve the craft and the body of the noble pilot proves treacherous, and the small crew must improvise if they are to return at all before the ellipse disappears again into lethal subspace.
Note : This episode was a tribute to the 30th aniversary of man landing on the moon. The title of this episode comes from Neil Armstrongs words as he walked on the moon "This is one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind"

The Story : When Voyager encounters an alien whose space "catapult" can speed them back home, a data-overloaded Seven of Nine causes chaos when she incites a civil war then divides the crew with secret allegations of treachery and insurrection. While Janeway debates accepting the use of an alien's technology that can cut their trip back to the Alpha Quadrant by years, an earnest Seven of Nine processes accompanying information and convinces Chakotay that the captain is sabotaging the true mission of Voyager. Likewise, she privately informs Janeway of a budding rebellion, mysteriously fanning flames that threaten to tear the ship apart.

The Story : In San Francisco, an obsessed former Enterprise engineer Reginald Barclay recruits Counselor Deanna Troi to help him communicate with the distant Voyager via a radically innovative system that puts him at odds with his superiors. Assigned to the Pathfinder Project, Barclay secretly creates a startlingly realistic simulated hologram of the Voyager and its lifelike crew which he believes has aided his quest to send a one-way message to the actual ship 60,000 light years away. However, his unorthodox manner and single-minded passion for the project anger his commanding officers, forcing Barclay to risk everything when he disobeys orders and tries to generate his transmission through a temporary micro-wormhole.

While Voyager orbits the planet and civilizations rise and fall in a matter of moments, generations of scientists try to figure out what the unusual object in the sky orbiting their world is and try to make contact with it. When Janeway briefly transports The Doctor to the alien world, she learns that the presence of Voyager has inspired invention among the society, which without warning, aims its own weapons at Voyager.

Janeway and the crew are perplexed by the effect that The Doctor's voice and variety of song selections have on such a superior alien culture as the Qomar. Millions of them mob his concerts, countless "fan mail" messages arrive and groupies abound, but one particular female Qomar catches the good Doctor's eye, and he ponders resigning his commission to stay behind.

When he threatens to harm the wounded Tuvok, Seven is forced into using her Borg skills in a death match with a formidable warrior.

The Story : When a shuttle carrying Chakotay, Kim, Paris and Neelix is captured by a hostile Borg ship, Janeway offers a trade for the hostages but soon discovers that her rival ship is manned by a handful of unpredictable but deadly Borg youths intent upon assimilation. Janeway refuses to exchange Voyager's navigational deflector for her missing crew, since Voyager would be unable to go to Warp without it. Seven surmises that the Borg most likely want Voyager's deflector in order to contact the Collective because their own is damaged. To stall for time, Janeway dispatches Seven of Nine to the alien craft to assess the situation. Meanwhile, the Captain has the doc recreate a 'Borg pathogen', which was responsible for killing all the other Drones on the Cube, to use against the immature Borg if necessary. Because Voyager cannot give up its deflector, Janeway offers Seven's services in repairing the Cube's technology. One of the Borg children tells Janeway that she has exactly two hours before one of the hostages dies. While speaking with the Borg children, Seven, who experiences compassion for the pitiful youths, tries to jostle their memories in hopes that they will turn away from the Collective and come aboard Voyager. When she shows them that a message from the collective says that the Borg believe the children are 'defective' and does not want them, the ranks become divided and the lead Borg dies. The other four return to Voyager and become 'individuals' until they can be reunited with their respective species.
Note : The Wetherill twins were originally casted on the WB's Safe Harbor before being written out of that series.

The Story : Janeway re-visits the idylic holographic Irish town Fair Haven. Problems begin to arise when the Holodeck program runs non-stop. After a glitch in the computers, Paris and Kim inadvertenly use their technology to alter the villagers' world in front of their eyes. The superstitious townsfolk suspect them of being from the "otherworld" and imprison them. When Janeway cannot transport her crewmates off the holodeck, she dispatches the Doctor to pose as a priest with a plan to get them out.

Pursued by her alien Kobali abductors, whose reproductive system is centered on reanimation of the dead, she rekindles her former relationships with Janeway and the crew of the Voyager, hoping to reverse the effects of the alien genes implanted in her system. Her old friendship with Lieutenant Harry Kim ignites and deepens until the moment in his quarters when she realizes the horror and extent of her Kobali genes. Harry's support and affection complicates Ballard's final decision as to whether she will remain human or return to the Kobali homeland with the alien family that loves her.

He also turns out to be quite smart and could be a major help to the Voyager and her crew. He invents a device to scan for wormholes and the like at a miniature 'science fair' aboard Voyager. He eventually decides to stay with his parents. However, one of the kids clues Seven in that Icheb's parents lied when they relayed the story of his assimilation. Voyager returns to the planet to find that he has been set out alone and unconcious in a shuttle designed to attract the Borg. Further investigation reveals that he was geneticallly engineered to be a 'Borg Killer' and that he was responsible for the virus that killed all the Drones in the Cube back in "Collective".

The Story : Stardate 53753.2 - Janeway discovers that there are three 'outcasts' on her ship that have never been on an away mission, and who have fallen through the cracks as far as receiving her 'personal attention'. To fix this, she forces the 3 of them to accompany her on an away mission with the Delta Flyer to investigate a newly forming star cluster. But they are attacked by some unseen force/alien, who beams one of the crew members off the Flyer, and actually enters his body. When the crewman goes right through a force field and claims he is not in control of his body, Janeway shoots him. When he is hit with the phaser blast, it forces the creature out, where another panicing crewman kills it.

Eventually, the real Captain Janeway and her crew are blamed for these deceptions when the con artists do not deliver the goods as promised. Ultimately, the Voyager crew must either pay for their crimes or bring the imposters to justice. The Doctor takes action and with the help of a holographic disguise, infiltrates the criminals' lair.

The Story : Voyager receives a distress call from a small vessel, piloted by a much older and weathered Kes. Captain Janeway grants her permission to come aboard, but she comes in much too fast and the vessel collides with Deck Nine. However, Kes beams herself aboard Voyager just before impact. Aboard Voyager, a cold and angry Kes uses her psychokinetic abilities to disable Voyager's systems. Voyager is in red alert as Kes gives off high levels of neurogenic energy. A security guard fires a phaser at Kes as she heads toward Engineering. She is hit by the blast and when she recovers she screams in anger, causing the bulkheads around them to blast inward in an explosion of fire and debris. Armed with phasers, Torres and Seven of Nine are shocked when the weapons ripple and distort in their hands. Kes places her hands upon the warp core. Just as Torres goes to shut it down, she is struck in the back by a tendril of energy. Seven rushes over to Torres' dead body, while Kes vanishes in a flash of light. When Kes disappears, she travels backward in time to Voyager as it was five years earlier. It's only been a few weeks since Voyager was pulled into the Delta Quadrant. Sneaking up behind the original Kes, the undetected Kes from the future injects her with a hypospray, rendering her unconscious. Janeway is concerned that another conflict may soon ensue with the Vidiians since two more ships have been detected on long-range sensors. On a secure channel, Kes from the future makes contact with the Vidiian Captain. She tells him she will provide him with information necessary to capture Voyager, in return for her safe passage home to Ocampa. Meanwhile, Tuvok seems to be experiencing premonitions. While walking down a corridor, he sees a young girl working a wall console that turns out to be Naomi Wildman. Tuvok follows the girl into the Cargo Bay, and when the doors open he sees Seven of Nine and the Borg Twins regenerating in their Borg alcoves. The Doctor confirms for Captain Janeway that Ensign Wildman is expecting a baby girl. Back in Engineering, Tuvok is once again having visions of the future. This time he is watching a fragmented replay of events that have already occurred in the future, when Torres is struck in the back with an energy tendril as a much older Kes looks on. Tuvok is brought to Sickbay where he begins to convulse upon the surgical bed. Janeway decides to view the proximity scan of Tuvok at the time he collapsed in Engineering. Apparently there was a surge of tachyon particles in Engineering just before Tuvok collapsed. Janeway suggests that tachyons are normally generated by temporal distortions, also known as time travel. Chakotay discovers that tachyon readings are being emitted in Sickbay, the Airponics Bay and Kes' quarters. Suddenly, Voyager finds itself under attack by the Vidiians. Paris is shocked that the Vidiians know so much about Voyager, including when they would be coming out of warp, as well as their shield frequencies. Kim detects transmissions to the Vidiians originating from Voyager on Deck Ten. The Vidiians have managed to board Voyager upon Deck Eight. Voyager's only chance is to explosively decompress that section of the ship. In a violent explosion, the Vidiian grappling pylon is blasted away from the ship. Janeway and Kes from the future come face to face. Janeway instructs Chakotay to redirect all plasma flow on Deck Eleven to the Shuttlebay command console. Arcs of energy course up Kes' arms and into her body. She begins to convulse violently and then falls dead to the floor. When an older Kes hails Voyager again in the future, the crew is already prepared. This time Captain Janeway shuts down the warp core completely. Kes from the past appears to the older Kes in a message that she recorded to herself five years earlier. She reminds the older Kes that she didn't always harbor so much anger toward the crew. Janeway tells her that the Voyager crew is not her enemy and that there is always room for her. However, according to Kes, there is no place for her anywhere. Altering the chemical composition of her body, Kes begins to dissipate and then vanishes.

The Story : Voyager's Doctor travels 30 thousand light years to apply an otherwise unknown medical technique to his dying creator, a very reluctant and contentious Dr. Zimmerman. But saving Zimmerman's life almost costs him his own holographic existence. The Doctor transmits his program back to the Alpha Quadrant in order to save the life of his creator, Dr. Lewis Zimmerman, with the help of Reginald Barclay and Deanna Troi.

The Story : Neelix, in charge of pacifying the children when lights on the ship flicker and fail, lets his imagination run wild, and turns reality into a fantastical, and utterly believable story which mesmerizes them into believing that a ghost actually dwells on deck twelve. As Neelix tells it, months ago an electromagnetic lifeform took possession of the ship, shutting down all life support systems, while trying to communicate with Janeway its need to return to the nebula from which it came. The Story : Seven of Nine is drawn into a dreamworld that Borg drones inhabit during their sleep cycles---a threat to the Borg Queen's control that Janeway wants to exploit. Unimatrix Zero is a place within the Borg Collective where a small percentage of drones go during their regeneration cycle. Within this virtual reality, they are able to act and think like individuals. However, once their regeneration cycle is complete the drones have no awareness of the dream-like Unimatrix Zero. After Seven of Nine is brought back to Unimatrix Zero by an old friend to help keep the Borg Queen from discovering this enclave, Captain Janeway sees the situation as a perfect opportunity to try and incite a Borg uprising from within the Collective.
