The Story : The Agency is now under the auspices of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, losing their support from Fish & Game. Darien, Hobbes, and the Keeper are sent to investigate the brutal deaths of several Indians. They turn up large primate footprints which lead them to think that Bigfoot might be involved. Meanwhile, a mysterious woodsman with IR goggles is taking potshots at them, and they seemed to be stalked by an invisible predator. It turns out that Darien's gland was apparently based on the gland of a sasquatch. The creature thinks Darien is one of its kind, and wants him for mating purposes. The woodsman, a discredited cryptozoologist, is trying to kill the creature for revenge against another of its kind killing his family. The woodsman tries to use Darien as bait, and in the end blows himself and the creature up. The Official disavows any connection between Bigfoot and the gland-research project, but Darien knows better. Meanwhile, the creature in the woods is revealed to be still at large.

Fertility clinics owned by the same corporation are the key factor. A standoff between the Agency and the armed children ensue, but Darien breaks the stalemate by entering the compound and calling for Chrysalis leader Stark. Eventually Hobbes and Fawkes discover that Ebert has been replaced by their invisible nemesis Arnaud DeFehrn. DeFehrn gained cell samples of Eberts during his last physical, and used them to make up a lifelike skin mask. He needs Eberts' access to get into the Official's computer. All of the team undergo psychiatric evaluation, and each of them gives their Rashomon-like personal accounts of what happened. Darien figures out that the only consistent factor in all their stories is the card. When Eberts opens it, he goes berserk as well. It turns out the card has a touch-transmitted chemical in it that, in conjunction with the song, turns the victim into a berserker. The card was sent to the post office by "Captain Chaos", a 60's anti-establishment type and was leftover until someone found it. Fawkes manages to stop Eberts, and Hobbes is given a clean bill of health.

The Story : After an operation goes bad and Fawkes goes into Quicksilver Madness, Darien realizes that there may be a way to find a cure. Despite the Official's orders not to, he has the Keeper inject him with some of his brother Kevin's DNA and channel his personality and memories as he did with Simon Cole (in "The Other Invisible Man"). The operation succeeds, but the DNA dates back to four months before Kevin and Arnaud DeFehrn mutated the gland. Hobbes and "Kevin" track down Dr. Elizabeth Rindell, who put the second gland in DeFehrn. DeFehrn beats them up and manages to escape, but "Kevin" is later kidnapped. "Kevin" fakes a fit of madness, knowing that the Counteragent will bring Darien back. Arnaud escapes again, but they get hold of a laptop computer with files on the gland. However, when they bring "Kevin" back for the last time to decipher the files, he refuses, believing Darien is a better person for it. Darien, needless to say, is less than thrilled.

Walker shows Darien some of the other experiments with sensory-deprivation performed by Kevin and his partner, Augustin Gaither. The other subjects went insane. However, a mysterious government organization, the Secret Weapons Research Branch, break in and claim everything is under their jurisdiction: even the Official is intimidated. They take Walker prisoner, but Darien believes Tommy can lead him to Gaither, who may know about Kevin's experiments and can find a way to remove the gland. Fawkes rescues Walker from the SWRB, only to discover that he is Augustin Gaither: he was driven insane by the same process when he used it on himself, and now believes he is "Tommy Walker". Darien follows Alex when she goes on maternity leave with her son, and thwarts a Chrysalis attempt to recover the baby. Then the child's biological mother Eleanor Stark shows up, and stops a plan to blow up Alex and child by a now nutso Stark. At the end, Alex gives up the child knowing it will be safe with Eleanor when she goes into the witness-protection program. The Story : Fawkes' gland malfunctions when he can't make his arms or legs visible. He is hit by Quicksilver Madness as he and Hobbes return to the lab. She gives it to him for a week and Fawkes goes AWOL to indulge in adrenaline-rush activities such as bungee jumping, horror movies, and sex with an attractive waitress. Hobbes and Monroe drags Darien back in when a case comes up: a local drug lord has stolen NASA zero-g space crystals and is using them for designer drugs. Darien goes on assignment even without his powers to steal the crystals. Darien is captured, but Hobbes and Monroe break him free, except Hobbes gets captured. Darien gets taken off the case and Monroe negotiates with the drug lord, Waring, to get Bobby back. Darien insists the Keeper reactivate his gland, but the process may take a while. Disobeying orders, he tags along as back-up, and when the three of them are cornered Darien's gland comes back on-line, saving them. The crystals are recovered although the drug lord walks. Cast : Joe Spano (Father Tom Moore), Curtis Blanck (Val)

The Story : Hobbes and the Keeper rush to Darien's apartment when he is beset by Quicksilver Madness. They manage to give him the cure but it doesn't restore his tattoo to full green. Darien is gaining an immunity to the counteragent, so the Keeper tries a new experimental batch. At first it seems to work, but then later Darien reverts immediately to Stage 5 madness (when his eyes go silver, as seen in "Money for Nothing"). He goes on a rampage, leaving behind non-dissolving Quicksilver flakes. He confronts his old priest, Father Moore, but Hobbes and the Keeper put a dart in him and manage to cure him. As Bobby finds out, the non-dissolving flakes now impart immediate Stage 5 Quicksilver madness to anyone who touches them. Bobby goes on a rampage against Eberts, the Official, and Darien before the Keeper can administer the antidote. Bobby supposedly picked up the other piles of non-dissolving Quicksilver earlier, but missed one at the church. First the guys have to check out a funeral where everyone is wearing sunglasses. Unfortunately, Father Moore is exposed, and goes on a rampage against one of his parishioners who beats his son. The gang manage to stop him, and when Darien visits him later we find out that Moore knows about the Quicksilver Program from Kevin Fawkes' confessional. The Story : Arnaud contacts Darien and Agency and lures Darien to a vineyard that is a Chrysalis front. Chrysalis successfully extracted the gland from Arnaud, retoring him to visibility. They then cloned the gland and put it in cows to "milk" them for Quicksilver. They need Arnaud's adrenaline to trigger the glands in the cows, and Arnaud wants rescuing. Darien does so, putting a bullet in Arnaud's leg to keep him from running away. Back at the Agency, Arnaud makes a bargain with the Keeper: she'll give him his laptop and he'll access his files to find a cure for Darien (against the Official's orders). He provides her with the cure, but it's a ruse to get at the explosives in his computer. He makes his escape, while Darien and Hobbes attack the vineyard. Chrysalis blows up the cows and escapes with the stockpiled Quicksilver. Meanwhile, the Official confronts the Keeper and tells her in no uncertain terms she is not to tell Darien she has a cure for him. If it comes to losing control of the gland once Darien is cured, the Official will have him killed. The Keeper, disobeying the orders of the Official from the previous episode, gives her the cure she got from Arnaud. Darien is cured for good of the madness, while retaining his invisiblity powers. Darien is not happy about the Official's decision and quits, but finds he can't resist being "good". He joins up with the FBI. Hobbes tries to convince him to come back to the Agency, but Darien declines and even gets the FBI to offer Hobbes a job. Hobbes is loyal to the Official (who has fired the Keeper). The FBI is on the trail of Chryalis, but only Darien knows what's really going on. He gets the Keeper, Claire, out of her new job at the CDC and they break into Agency HQ to get the answers. The lab that maintains the corn is also working on a cure for cancer, which Chrysalis wants to disrupt. A seemingly-contrite Official offers the Agency's cooperation, so Darien, Bobby, and Claire get to the next targeted field and bug-spray the locust, killing the locust. In the end, Darien agrees to come back to work for the Agency in return for better hours and pay, and Claire's reinstatement. As the trio leaves, the Official notes that "Now we're in trouble."
