Soylent Green is among my all time favorite Sci-fi movies. In spite the awesome legacy of Charlton Heston in the Ten Commandments, he will always be remembered by me for his portrayal of a tired, worn, post-modern policeman. This man, with flaws and all, is ultimately driven by his desire to help his fellow population, which there are so many of.My kids get a kick out of me when I occassionally yell, "SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE" and appreciated the statement more after we finally saw this classic adventure. In sum, I love this movie and suggest everyone see it at some point in their lives.
