Quatermass and the Pit

Having encountered this film on a rainy Saturday afternoon when I was a teenager and missing the first half hour or so, Quatermass in the Pit has figured strongly in my own youthful hazy memories. Seeing it in its entirety as an adult, was an invigorating experience, what with my own recollections as a parallel to the film story line of 5 million year old racial memories. A strange little movie with a chilly undertone. Well worth the 90 minutes.
