This bizarre french film does well what most post-apocalypse need to do to be good. It captures the desperate and bleak atmosphere of a blasted landscape. This atmosphere is perpetuated by the fact that for some reason or another human beings cannot produce sound unless pure oxygen is in their lungs. The cool lances everyone carries around and the main character's comcial approach to this life make this movie a great post-nuclear watch.
