review of No Name (8/10)
January 02, 2014
I saw this movie when it first was released with my entire family. The kids loved it. My wife and I loved it.
About an older couple who find an alien life form in the shape of a flying saucer. The saucer eventually gives birth to a whole slew of baby saucers.
The effects were very watchable, though not earth-shaking.
The heart of the movie was watching the older couple and their friends cope with this alien life form, but doing so in very humane and compassionate manner, unlike what would probably really happen, people freaking, military rushes in with deadly force, etc.
This is one fantasy worth watching, and worth keeping in the library for the little ones and eventually their little ones.
